This item was purchased for My Church. It is being used with the electrical adapter and it is working well so far. It can be programed to automatically adjust for day light saving time and it was easy to program.

First one returned right away- wouldn't program. 2nd one --worked for 1 year. Use in an office. Programming it was not a problem, but it quit working after the last DST time change. Cheaply made, obviously considered a throw away. Save money & buy one better quality that will last.

Just wanted a clock that you stick the battery in and it works. THere is a "programmable" thing attached. Impossible to work right. My goodness. Its not as represented!

This clock cannot just simply be plugged in and it works. You need to program it while it's plugged it. In my case while standing on a chair next to the outlet. Every time there is a power blip the clock stops working and needs to re-programmed. I decided to use just a battery but even with that I had to "program" the clock to make it work. More hassle than it's worth. Don't bother buying this clock.
